Summer Program
Our summer program is a natural enrichment to the school program. It will allow each individual child to focus on his/her interests and skills that s/he developed during the school year.
Our summer program is a natural enrichment to the school program. It will allow each individual child to focus on his/her interests and skills that s/he developed during the school year. It also engages his/her spirit of adventure with an in-depth exploration of a variety of geographic locations. During every two week session we will focus on the unique music, art, geography and nature of the particular area. All the materials and children’s activities will be inspired by the destination, as well. Our outside classroom is a key component during the school year and it will be an even larger focal point in the summer. One of the major features is the children’s garden. They all participate in taking care of the vegetable, herb and flower garden; planting, watering, weeding and harvesting. It is also a great place to explore, dig for insects and examine bugs . Every day there will be time for snack and/or lunch, exploring and playing outdoors, group and individual activities and time to just listen to the birds.
